Bilateral test – upon the middle of the forehead. Unilateral test – upon the parietal bone. <\/p>\n
if the client is supine, then, there is no need to stabilize. If the client is sitting, then stabilize with one hand upon the upper back. <\/p>\n
presses posteriorly (bilateral) or posteriorly and slightly lateral (unilateral). <\/p>\n
The test used is the Sternocleidomastoid test as it is the most active neck flexor.
