Alarm Points Test

Each meridian has associated an Alarm Point on the torso – some are on the midline and some are bilateral. The points are not necessarily located on the meridian itself.  Scope This technique can be used: – To check if the meridian associated with the Alarm Point in over-energy; – To check if the meridian associated with the Alarm Pont is invloved in general in what is being assessed. Description A previously strong Indicator Muscle (IM) is tested while the alarm points are held.  If the muscle unlocks, this means there is over energy in the meridian associated with that alarm point or points or that the meridian in involved in what is being assessed.
