How to find
BL-07 is best located by using GV 20 (Hundred Meetings) (5 cun superior to the anterior hairline, on the vertex, at the junction of the midline with a line connecting the apices of the ears) as a reference point. Measure 1 cun anterior from GV 20 (Hundred Meetings) and 1.5 cun lateral to the midline (or one third of the distance between GV 24 (Courtyard of the Spirit) and ST 08 (Head’s Binding)) to locate BL-07. Located on the same level (4 cun superior to the anterior hairline), but more laterally (pupil line), is GB 18 (Support Spirit). GV 21 (In Front of the Crown) is located on the midline, 1.5 cun anterior to GV 20 (Hundred Meetings).
