Hand Monitoring

Bilateral test – upon the middle of the forehead. Unilateral test – upon the parietal bone. 

Hand Stabilizing

if the client is supine, then, there is no need to stabilize. If the client is sitting, then stabilize with one hand upon the upper back. 

Monitoring Direction

presses posteriorly (bilateral) or pos­teriorly and slightly lateral (unilateral). 

Note

The test used is the Sternocleidomastoid test as it is the most active neck flexor.
Specific description of neck flexors and their tests will be improved in next releases.
