Adalbert Ibrahim Kapandji (1928-2019) was a French orthopedic surgeon, specialized in hand surgery, author of several books on functional anatomy, biomechanics and joint physiology.
His books are so widely known among anatomy and physiology students that for many of them the word “Kapandji” is synonym of his joint physiology books.
