The Eight Extraordinary Meridians

ASSOCIATED MODE: Touch the Glabella with the Thumb of one hand, while simultaneously hold Acupressure Mode with other Hand, Pause Lock, and test Indicator Muscle. 
SCOPE-UTILITY: This technique tells you how to balance the Eight Extraordinary Meridians, that a very important aspect of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Extraordinary Meridians constitute the matrix and the energetic imprinting which will give life to embryological development. They establish the program and they transport the codes of the body’s organism. It is incorrect to describe them as Meridians, because they are actually the dynamic manifestation of the Code of Life. This code is the Genetic Code, the DNA, the JING Energy. This Energy is completely different than QI, the Energy that flows in the 12 Primary Meridians. We can summarise saying that QI is Physiological Energy, the one derived from the food we eat and the air we breathe, while JING is Genetic Energy, the one we receive at conception. Therefore the Extraordinary Meridians are related to all the congenital imbalances, to fertility, conception, pregnancy, birth, development, the Immune System and the Endocrine System. 
PROCEDURE

  1. Find a proper Indicator Muscle (IM).
  2. Test and balance if necessary the Hips Pause-Lock mechanism.
  3. Test and balance if necessary the TMJ Pause-Lock mechanism.
  4. Pre-Checks: [[Hydration]], [[Switching]], Over Energy.
  5. Test Extraordinary Meridians Mode: Touch the Glabella with the Thumb of one hand, while simultaneously hold [[Acupressure Mode]] with other Hand, Pause-Lock, and test Indicator Muscle (IM).
  6. If the Extraordinary Meridians Mode causes a priority Indicator Change, then this technique is appropriate. Go to step 8.
  7. If the Extraordinary Meridians Mode doesn’t causes a priority Indicator Change, then this technique is NOT appropriate.
  8. Test the Eight Key Points and check with Priority Mode. The priority Key Point will tell you which is the Extraordinary Meridian to balance
    • Du Mai (Governing Vessel) = Si 03 (Back Stream)
    • Ren Mai (Central Vessel) = LU 07 (Broken Sequence)
    • Chong Mai (Penetrating Vessel) = SP 04 (Grandfather Grandson)
    • Dai Mai (Belt) = GB 41 (Foot Governor of Tears)
    • Yin Wei Mai (Yin Regulating) = PC 06 (Inner Gate)
    • Yang Wei Mai (Yang Regulating) = TH 05 (Outer Pass)
    • Yin Qiao Mai (Yin Motility) = KI 06 (Shining Sea)
    • Yang Qiao Mai (Yang Motility) = BL 62 (Extending Vessel)
  10. Test all the points that belongs to the Extraordinary Meridian found and check with Priority Mode.
  11. Read the text related to the Extraordinary Meridian to find any relevant information.
  12. Discuss with the client about the meaning of that Extraordinary Meridian. Place the client into a fetal position.
  13. Open the Extraordinary Meridian stimulating simultaneously the Key Point of the Meridian you want to activate together with the Key Point of the complementary Extraordinary Meridian. See chart.
  14. Use the Key Points on the right or left side of the body according to the sex of the client. 
  15. Stimulate all the priority specific points of the Extraordinary Meridian found at step 9.
  16. Close the Extraordinary Meridian stimulating contemporaneously the Key Point of the complementary Extraordinary Meridian with the Key Point of the Meridian you have opened.
