What are the 5 Pillars?

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, there are 5 very important muscles called the 5 Pillars, that control our posture.
In Kinesiology we base our work on the Muscle-Organ relationship and there is an organ for each Meridian. Nevertheless, in TCM there are some organs that are not associated with any of the 12 Meridians, yet they are so important and special, that they are called “The Extraordinary Organs” and are strictly related to “The Extraordinary Meridians”.
One of these Extraordinary Organs are “The Bones”, which generates the 3 Cavities – Abdomen, Thorax and Head, that are the main structure to align to have an optimal posture. There is a strict relationship between the 3 Cavities, the Triple Heater and the 3 Dan Tians and balancing the 5 Pillars can influence the whole of this structure.

In only 8 hours you will learn a very easy, practical and effective tool to balance structural problems,… but also emotional and biochemical. In Osteopathy there are 5 very important structures called the 5 Diaphragms, that are strictly related to the 3 body Cavities. This modern western concept matches perfectly with the Traditional Chinese Medicine’s teachings. The Diaphragms plays a major role. They are the horizontal structures that divide the body in different segments, regularizing the internal pressures of the blood and lymphatic circulation, thus promoting the right drainage of the tissues and the right flow of oxygen.
The Diaphragms are not important only at a structural or physiological level, but also at the emotional level, infect they are places of latency of unresolved emotional issues. We will study into detail the Pelvic Diaphragm, the Thoracic Diaphragm, the Thoracic Outlet, the Tongue Diaphragm and the Tentorium. We’ll study the different structures (muscles, fascias and bones) that make up each diaphragm.  To balance these Diaphrams we will use some very advanced TCM concepts and different types of Meridians (Primary, Extraordinary, Tendino-Muscular and Divergent).  In particular we’ll use, as a general balance, the Dai Mai Extraordinary Meridian, the Kidney Tendino-Muscular Meridian and the Kidney Divergent Meridian, plus all the other meridians that are in specific relationship with each of the 5 Diaphragms.  We’ll also use different acupressure points that have a specific effect on each diaphragm.  In this class, you will learn how to create deep and profound changes in a person, using simple Kinesiological procedures In 8 hours, you will learn how to muscle test the 5 Diaphragms and how to balance them using Acupressure Points, Sound and Colored Lights.
